The area we live in has many valuable landmarks that make our town unique. One landmark that will always stick in my memory, but is not very popular or valuable, is Go-Fer Foods. If you ask any kid who has grown up here about Go-Fers, they’ll know exactly what you’re talking about. This used to be the coolest place to hang out on Friday and Saturday nights. Now, the cops stopped people from hanging out there, but the Go-Fer’s name still stands in people’s memories today. This picture has a lot of meaning to me, because I always used to tell kids to meet me there. It puts a smile on my face when I think about the things that went on here, like the loud music and frantic parties. This place is as important to me as a basketball is to a point guard.
