Jim and Susan Larson [Click here to view full size picture] The Philanthropist of the Year award is presented each July by the Yampa Valley Community Foundation.
Nominations for the philanthropist of the Year award are based on the following criteria:

Consistent generous level of financial support and in-kind contributions
Broad philanthropic impact to the community
Volunteer contributions
Long-term benefits of contributions to the community
Visionary implications of those contributions
Contributions which address a specific community need and ongoing support of community programs and projects
