Boy Scouts
The mission statement for the Boy Scouts is: build character, foster citizenship, develop fitness, and serve others by helping to instill values in young people. Also, to prepare young boys to make ethical choices during their lifetime so that they may achieve their full potential.

Boy Scouts motto: "Be Prepared".
Slogan: "Do a good turn daily".

To become a Boy Scout you must be between the ages of 11 and 18.

The Steamboat Springs Troop 194 meets every Tuesday at Holy Name Catholic Church, 524 Oak Street in Steamboat Springs. Troop 194 is chartered by the Steamboat Rotary Club and is part of the Western Colorado Council of Boy Scouts of America.
