Students in the fourth grade classes at Strawberry Park Elementary School had access to disposable cameras which were used to document people, places, and events in their lives in Routt County that are significant to them in some way. Students wrote about the photographs. The writings and photos were bound into small photo journals.

Second grade students at Hayden Valley Elementary School created an alphabet book depicting local mammals, historical figures, physical characteristics, resources, community changes and current points of interest to the Hayden community.
