24. Larry Chamberlain (1982)

Larry Chamberlain was born December 2, 1937 in Ainsworth, Nebraska to Cecil and Nelda Chamberlain. Cecil was an agent for the Chicago & Northwestern RR so the family moved around alot. Nelda was a school teacher.

25. Timothy C. Walsh (1983-1990)

Tim Walsh was born in Covington, Kentucky. During his early high school years he attended the Kentucky Military Institute. He moved to California when he was a junior in high school and then back to Kentucky to complete his senior year.

Ed Burch was born March 2, 1937 in Richmond, Virginia. He grew up living between Virginia and Chicago attending a military school in Faribault, Minn. and a prep school in Simsbury, Conn. before graduating from high school in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

27. John Warner (1995- 2006 )

John C. Warner was elected Sheriff in November 1994 and was "sworn in" January 10, 1995. Sheriff Warner was re-elected in 1998 and again in 2002. Sheriff Warner is a former employee of the Routt County Sheriff's Office beginning in 1979 as a Detention Deputy.

02. James B. Donaldson (1877-1879)

James Brownlee Donaldson was born 16 July 1837 in Rochester, New York. He was involved in various enterprises as he moved westward and ended up working in the mines at Hahn's Peak. He was appointed Sheriff of Routt County in August 1877 to serve until the general election. According to the 1880 census he was a resident of Hahn's Peak, age 43, occupation was "chiner". By 1882 he had settled in Denver and founded Rogers Mortuary.

17. Edward D. Rich (1935-1937)

Ed Rich was born in 1885 and came to Routt County with his family as a young boy. They came by train to Wolcott and then stage to what later became known as Oak Creek. His father Eben bought ranch land and profitably raised cattle and horses.

Ernest Richard "Dude" Todd was born in 1903 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. As an infant he came with his parents to Toponas where his uncle ran a stage stop.

John William "Billy" Macfarlane was born on March 17, 1885 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He came to Routt County as a young boy in 1898 and lived with his family in Yampa.

20. Albert Ritter (1952-1958)

Albert B. Ritter was born May 3, 1909 in Idaho Springs, Colorado. Albert, better known as Ab, worked for many years for Larson Transportation Company driving trucks on the Denver to Steamboat Springs route. He considered Steamboat Springs his second home.

21. Glen Robson (1958-1970)

Glen Robson was born January 23, 1913 in Oak Creek. He was the son of James Robson and Martha Elnore Shelley Robson. Glen grew up in the Williams Fork and Pagoda areas, living within a 14-mile radius of Mt. Harris all of his life.
