Why build a Recreation Center?
- The community of Steamboat Springs has been talking about the need for a facility to accommodate indoor recreation for more then 10 years.
- Two feasibility studies have been completed that point to the community’s readiness for such a facility and recommend that the time is now to begin construction.
- There are a number of immediate and crucial needs that are currently unmet in our community such as dedicated youth/teen facilities, indoor play areas, gym space, indoor aquatics and more.
