The Animal Assistance League's annual Wine Tasting and auction will be held Saturday, October 21, 2006, at The Art Depot in Steamboat Springs. Last year we had about 150 people attend and a good time was had by all. We had wonderful food, lots of door prizes and a silent auction with great animal-themed items. We raised more than $10,000, which is being used for education, wildlife rehabilitation, spay and neuter programs, and the Rudy Fund for injured animals.

Some of the silent auction items included a week in Park City, photo albums, massages, hair care, unique Christmas decorations, dog bowls and more.
