Routt County has five public, one special, one academic, and many school libraries which may be used for research, recreational reading, and Internet access.
All of the public and school libraries in Steamboat Springs are part of the Marmot Library Network, which is a consortium of western slope libraries in Colorado. Because most of our libraries are a member of this consortium, patrons may search a library's online catalog, place holds on materials, check the status of their account, or renew library materials from home.
To use this feature you will need the full barcode number found on the back of your library card.
Also, Colorado residents who have obtained a library card from their local library are automatically elligible to check out materials from any other library in Colorado.
