Brief Biography:
Shaw began skiing at an early age but switched to snowboarding in 1999. She is currently Australia’s highest ranked rider in Alpine and the only Australian competing on the World Cup circuit in this event. She has been the National Australian champion the past four years and was the National U.S. and Canadian Champion in 2005. Shaw was named the Australian Snowboarder of the Year in 2002.

Shaw currently trains with the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club and loves the relaxed and friendly environment. In her off season she loves wakeboarding in the Murry River in Australia.
