Brief Biography:
Rodolph-Wyatt began skiing at the age of fourteen in Steamboat and became one of the most prominent female skiers in the world in the 1950’s. In 1950 she was named to the U.S. FIS Team that competed in the World Championships in Aspen, Colorado. In 1952 she placed 5th in Giant Slalom in Oslo, Norway while on the Olympic Team. Rodolph-Wyatt was again named to the U.S. FIS team in 1954 and placed 5th in the Championships in Are, Sweden. In 1956, while still racing on the U.S. Olympic Team she fractured 3 vertebrae in Kitzbuchl, Austria and was unable to compete.

Rodolph-Wyatt took nine national titles from 1949-1956 including 35 first-place and 17 second-place trophies. She was inducted into the National Ski Hall of Fame in Ishpeming in 1966 and the Colorado Ski Hall of Fame in 1985. In 1990 she was the recipient of the Hazie Werner award.

Rodolph-Wyatt remained active in the ski world as a FIS technical delegate representative of the U.S. subcommittee for Ladies Alpine Skiing. She was also a member of the Rocky Mountain Ski Race Officials. Rodolph-Wyatt passed away in 1994.
