Brief Biography:
When Miller was fourteen he won the Junior Olympic Slalom Championships at Alpine Meadows, California and he won the Australian National Giant Slalom Championships in 1985 at the age of twenty. He was the youngest member of the U.S. Ski Team from 1984-1986. Miller was one of the first group of students at Steamboat’s Great Western Freestyle Center and at that time he cleared 305 feet at the 1986 gelande competition on Howelsen Hill. He was unable to compete in the 1987 World Championships in Switzerland due to an injury, but returned in 1988 to compete at the Olympics.
