Brief Biography:
When Doran was seven he told his parents that he was going to be in the Olympics some day. In 1990 his family moved to Steamboat so that he could focus exclusively on skiing. His mother said, “he was very forceful about us moving to Steamboat and even told us he’d found another couple to take him there if we wouldn’t.”

At the young age of 15 he competed in the 1995 World Championships and that same year he won the Continental Cup, his first major victory. Already having participated in two Olympics, Brendan Doran is no stranger to competition. In 2000 Doran became the US 90-meter champion.
