The Pacific Hotel had a cafe and laundry, and there was a livery stable next door. After a while it stayed into apartments. Located on the corner of Moffat and Colfax, Oak Creek's first hotel was actually built before the town was incorporated. In the 1950's it was known as Van Wert's apartments, and later under the ownership of Emma and Elmer Anderson, it was known as Anderson Apartments and Emma's Apartments (its current designation).
The rectangular wooden building has had a variety of siding over the years. In fact presently it has three different styles of sideing on the front. It is two stories high and has a gabled roof. The stairway currently on the front of the building was added after the hotel was converted into apartments.
