High Point 4-H Club is for kids ages 5-7 (cloverbuds) and 8-18 years of age. Our club has a lot of horse project kids but we also have kids involved in numerous other projects such as vet science, poultry, rabbits, sheep, steers, breeding heifer, swine, goats, sewing, cake decorating, shooting sports, fishing, and more. During the year we do many fun club activities, community pride and fundraising projects(see below).

We are one of the largest 4H clubs in Routt County and are very blessed to have such a great group of kids and parents that are so involved in our club.

Club meetings: We have business meetings the 2nd Tuesday on the following months at 6 p.m. at the Extension Office Conference Room - February, April, June, October, December. We have activity meetings (kid's choice)the 2nd Sunday on the following months at 1:00 p.m. - January, March, May, July, September, November.

At the end of each year we recognize our outstanding members and those who contribute a lot to the club with an Awards Banquet. The kids get some awesome awards with the money they've raised throughout the year. The kids are asked to participate in at least 6 meetings, participating in club activities, community pride projects, fundraisers, host meetings and activities throughout the year. 4H is the most fun when everyone takes part.

Our kids are also currently active in Jr. Leadership, Livestock Committee, 4H Exchange Group, Leaders District Meeting (LDC), District Retreat, State Leaders Conference, Council Representative Meetings, Livestock Judging and much more.
