REQUIREMENTS FOR ANNUAL FUNDING

FUNDED MEMBER AGENCIES
Provide a human service to the residents of Routt County
Must have a current 501 (c)(3) determination of tax exempt status from the IRS
Can not make any direct solicitation for contributions or conduct any fundraising activity during the annual campaign of Routt County United Way, which usually takes place from September 15 to November 15, unless otherwise approved by the Board of Directors
Should recognize Routt County United Way’s support of their organization in all of their publicity materials (i.e. letterhead, newsletters, brochures, advertisements)

BENEFITS TO FUNDED MEMBER AGENCIES
Eligible to receive funding from Routt County United Way
Receive publicity during Routt County United Way’s annual campaign
Are part of Routt County United Way’s information and referral service

FUNDED PROGRAMS (ie: might be programs organized and conducted by volunteers without the benefit of a structured agency with staff)
Provide a human service to the residents of Routt County
Must have a current determination of tax exempt status from the IRS or be part of an umbrella organization that has such status
Limit annual funding request from Routt County United Way to an amount not exceeding $1,000

Be eligible to receive funding from Routt County United Way
