Community Video Filming
WANTED
All Citizens of Hayden
FOR THE HAYDEN COMMUNITY VIDEO!

If you live or work in Hayden, you could be in the movies!

As a way of engaging the community in its planning process and in helping to create its future vision, the Town of Hayden received a grant from the Gates Family Foundation, to produce a video of the Town of Hayden and those who live, work and recreate in our community.

The objective of the video project is to discover and communicate a common vision for our community by producing a documentary of Hayden’s history and character as well as a chronicle of its people, priorities, and values.

The Hayden High School Future Business Leaders of America Club along with Mr. Rillos’ class is assisting in the filming of our Community Video under the professional guidance of video producer, Darrin Fryer of Planet Productions Inc. The Orton Family Foundation is providing project guidance.

Dates:
  • Friday, December 5, 2pm-8pm

  • Friday, December 12, 2pm-8pm

  • Saturday, December 13, 10am-4pm

Location:
  • Varies—generally in downtown Hayden.

Directions:
  • Check in at Town Hall and you'll be sent to the filming location. There will be different locations throughout each day.

Please Note:

  • First, because this is open invitation, people may have to wait before they are filmed.

  • Second, not everyone filmed may make the actual Community Video. The Video will be about 30 minutes in length which may limit the number of people and the amount of time people appear in the final edited film.

  • Third, some of the locations may be outdoors, so you should come dressed for the weather.

The Future Business Leaders of America at Hayden High School are compiling a survey of Hayden resident’s viewpoints to assist with the video.
The survey “points to ponder” include:

  • What brought you to Hayden?

  • What keeps you here?

  • How long has your family been in the community?

  • What are your favorite things to do in the area?

  • What memories make Hayden special to you?

  • What are some of Hayden’s strengths/advantages?

  • What are some of our community’s weaknesses/challenges?

  • What do you think are the important issues in Hayden?

  • What would you like to see in Hayden’s future?

  • What is the best thing about Hayden?
