Special Notes on Safety
€ As a safety measure, authorized staff members may remove the lift ticket of any rule violator.

€ Unmarked obstacles and hazards may exist.

€ Ski area management reserves the right to refuse access to the mountain to
any person with equipment other than conventional alpine or touring skis, or
snowboards, or adaptive ski equipment.

€ Due to emergency and/or snow conditions, grooming equipment may be encountered at any time.

€ Snowmobiles may be encountered at any time.

€ Tree skiing is not groomed; hazards may exist.

€ Wearing of headsets while skiing may be dangerous. We do not recommend their use while skiing. If involved in an accident while using headsets,that fact will be noted on the accident report form.

€ Always remember, the grading of trails for difficulty is based on normal
conditions for skiing in Steamboat. Degrees of difficulty can vary with
changing snow and weather conditions.

€ Alpine skiing is a recreational activity, however, expect the unexpected. Trail and slope conditions vary constantly with weather changes and skier
use. Be aware of changing conditions‹natural or man-made.

€ Our area supports the National Ski Area Association ³Lids On Kids²intiative.
