My Teen Life in Routt County Students in three sections of Modern Writing and Literature at Steamboat Spring High School received disposable cameras through a grant from the Legacy Education Foundation. Their assignment was to take photos exemplifying who they are and how they are connected to the people, places and things in Routt County. Students also wrote commentaries about their experiences and photos.

Fourth Grade Photo Journal Students in the fourth grade classes at Strawberry Park Elementary School had access to disposable cameras which were used to document people, places, and events in their lives in Routt County that are significant to them in some way. Students wrote about the photographs. The writings and photos were bound into small photo journals
