Leadership Development Conference (LDC) allows members ages 14-18 to travel to Denver and have a fun weekend getting to know other 4-H members from across the state. This conference for 2008 will be held January 25-28, 2008. Each day is filled with workshops and activities for youth to participate in and the evenings are filled with banquets and dances. The conference is followed by Colorado 4-H Day at the Capital, where members are able to meet with legislators from across the state, as well as attending the legislative session for the 4-H proclamation.
Leadership Development Conference is a very educational and fun weekend retreat that allows you to make friends from all across the state of Colorado. LDC is a great way to get involved with 4-H on a state level and gives you great leadership skills that will be valuable for years to come.
