Routt County has very active Senior Citizens. The population of residents 60 years and up is approximately 7%.

The Routt County Council on Aging:

Confused  about  Medicare?   Or are you just new to the area and trying to figure out what services are available for seniors
in Routt County?  

Let us help!    Routt County Council on Aging is here to determine and meet the needs of the seniors of Routt County.   

We fulfill our mission in many ways:

• by providing nutritious, delicious congregate and home-delivered meals for seniors in Steamboat, Hayden and South Routt
  
• by offering seniors transportation to meals, doctors' appointments, shopping, etc. in Steamboat, Hayden and South Routt
  
• by staffing a SHIP Medicare Counselor who can answer Medicare questions
