What is the the Steamboat Tennis Association?

The Steamboat Tennis Association (STA) is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization and a Community Tennis Association (CTA) affiliated with the United States Tennis Association (USTA). The STA has over 200 members and is chartered to promote junior tennis in Steamboat Springs.

How the Steamboat Tennis Association Serves our Community

The STA is the primary source of funding for junior tennis in the Yampa Valley. Membership and sponsorship dollars fund grants and scholarships for junior players between the ages of 5 and 18 and provides funding for the boys and girls Steamboat Springs High School Tennis Teams. Support from the STA helps cover the cost of court fees and other high school team expenses.

The STA is proud of the success of our high school tennis teams. The boy's team has been regional champions for 10 years and the girl's team for four years. Both teams boast the title of state champions. Your support is vital to continue this trend of excellence.

Through the STA's hosting of Special Events, Socials and a summer Tennis Tournament, which includes a dinner with silent and live auctions, the orgainzation provides activities for adults and juniors throughout the year. The STA acts as the main advocate for tennis in the Yampa Valley.

• Stop by the Tennis Center at Steamboat Springs, 2500 Pine Grove Rd to pick up an application. You may pay your membership dues at the front desk.
