Future Senior Housing in Steamboat Springs

In December of 2009, YVMC announced plans to construct a new senior living campus in Steamboat. The campus will provide 142 units of housing on the continuing care concept. Housing choices will include independent living, assisted living, memory care and a skilled nursing facility which will replace the Doak Walker Care Center. YVMC hopes to break ground in 2011 and hopes to have units available in 2013.  

In February of 2010, YVMC announced that they had selected a 5.5 acre parcel of land adjacent to Casey’s Pond as the site for the new development.

Independent living bungalows at The Haven in Hayden

The VNA has a vision to build bungalows or cottages in Hayden. The homes would be directly adjacent to The Haven so that the facilities and the services of The Haven could be shared. The VNA intends to undertake this project as funding becomes available.
