OTHG Member Survey
In November of 2009, a survey was prepared by the OTHG senior housing committee to try to answer the question: “If our members were seeking supportive housing or supportive services, how likely would they seek such housing or services in the Steamboat area?”
The survey results were tabulated and a report was sent to members in December of 2009. Nearly 20% of members responded, and more than 30% of those added comments about their concerns. This strong response showed a lot of interest in senior issues.
Approximately 80% of the members indicated that they would or that they possibly would seek supportive housing in Steamboat and 85% of the members indicated that they would or that they possibly would seek supportive services in Steamboat. This showed very strong support for Steamboat, but the large number of “possiblys” probably means thatmembers have not yet really decided what they will want to do.
