Camp Rocky is a week-long, residential camp for 14- to 19-year-olds who enjoy the outdoors and are interested in natural resources. Camp Rocky staff, made up of resource professionals from around the state, help participants learn about their environment while participants work in teams and meet other students from across Colorado. Each year, new and returning students choose one of the following resource fields for their area of focus: forest management, rangeland science, soil and water conservation or fish and wildlife management.
This summer the District will continue its tradition of sending interested students to Camp Rocky. Come by our office to pick up an application or call our office and an application can be mailed or faxed to you. Interested students may receive help with the registration from RCCD. Inquire about assistance when you ask for an application.
