Euzoa Bible Church

Euzoa Bible Church is where much of my personal growth has taken place. I have enjoyed many good times with my friends and the youth leaders while being challenged in my spiritual life. So many people at Euzoa have looked out for me and helped me to become who I am. I try to attend Saturday night service each week, but sometimes I can't make it. I started going to Euzoa's youth group at age 12 when Chris Spradlin moved from Texas to take over the youth ministry. I enjoyed the fellowship and it gave me a way to meet new kids. I went to summer camps and Lake Powel with the youth group and always had an awesome time. Today, I no longer attend Euzoa's youth group, but I will always remember what I learned from Chris and other leaders. I first began attending Saturday night service during hockey season because I had games every Sunday morning. It was so much more fulfilling than most other services I had ever gone to. The most noticeable difference between this service and others was the uplifting worship. The worship team was incredible and they played contemporary songs that always touched my heart. Today, I help with the Saturday night sound mix for the worship team. I enjoy this because it gives me a chance to put my musical talent to use and a good cause. I know that my attending Euzoa church has greatly impacted who I am today.

Euzoa Bible Church has been the church I have attended in Routt County since I was born. Euzoa means "the good life" and I feel like it runs perfectly with life in Steamboat. Euzoa is like my second family; I know all of the adults just as well as my aunts and uncles. Even though Euzoa makes up a small part of Routt County's population, we all have really close ties that just bring me closer to the community. Even though I only go to church once a week, God is one of my priorities in life that I will carry with me out of Routt County in two years.
