Expanding on the current site has provided challenges and opportunities. The design team sought to utilize the site in the most efficient and attractive manner. The Lincoln Avenue elevation was designed with some of the historic downtown Steamboat architecture and materials in mind.

Landscaping will be designed to enhance the greenspace around the Library creating wonderful outdoor spaces that will provide the community a place to meet and relax and a place for children to play.
