(1983 and forward can be searched by grantor/grantee name online/on computer; before 1983, researcher must come in to the Clerk's office an search the grantor/grantee books manually.)

Online Sources:

  • Real-estate documents- includes Warranty Deeds, deeds, deeds of trust, liens, etc. (related to land or house transactions)


  • Marriage licenses


  • Routt County subdivision plat maps



    • In office Sources:

  • Original recorded plats, microfiche archives of all recorded documents, including marriage licenses, death certificates, deeds, easements, mineral deeds, patents, voter registration files, electronic scanned images of all plats.

    Military discharges.

    Applied Charges for Information:

  • Photocopy of recorded document cost per page: $.25 (8 1/2" x 11")


  • Certified copy of a document: $1.00


  • Plat Maps: The standard size for plat maps is 24" x 36" and they are $7 per page. Ledger size 11" x 17" for $5 per page.
