What comes to mind when you think about a school room? Is it the smell of chalk dust? The feel of a hard desk chair?  Or the sound of a ringing school bell?

Throughout this exhibit, “When The School Bell Rings: A Story Of Education In Routt County,” we explore the experiences of teachers, students and communities, as well as  some of our area’s most nostalgic buildings and institutions. As you tour the exhibit, you are encouraged to share your own memories of school days regardless of how long ago you attended school.
