Historic Routt County! presents and sponsors programs, workshops, and tours about Routt County historic and cultural resources; hosts an annual Preservation Month Awards Celebration; facilitates interpretation of historic sites; and provides resources and guidance for historic preservation issues and heritage tourism initiatives.

Historic Routt County offers preservation workshops, nomination workshops and one-on-one consultation for historic preservation.

Programs and Events

Historic Routt County offers several programs and events throughout the year, including Preservation Month celebration in May; an exhibit in the Courthouse; lectures and co-sponsors walking tours with Yampatika and the Tread of Pioneers.

Historic Routt County also is partnering on Cultural Heritage Tourism initiatives and Main Street programs.
