Yampa Valley Medical Center’s comprehensive Wellness Program provides corporate and community health screenings and programs. The Wellness Program’s team of YVMC employees provides employers and their employees the opportunity to complete a health risk survey as well as participate in on-site programs and activities that promote wellness and healthy behaviors.
 

The focus of the program is high touch counseling whereby wellness counselors support and encourage employees to work on specific health behaviors. Employees and spouses who elect to participate in the Wellness Program are charged a lower health insurance premium rate than those who choose not to participate. This premium incentive is available only as long as the employee and spouse remain active participants in the Wellness Program and meet their goals.
