  • Routt County United Way is the only local non-profit organization whose sole purpose is to raise funds and provide support for the health and human service needs of Routt County residents.
  • We are governed by a 20 member volunteer Board of Directors. Our paid staff consists of only one full-time director and two part-time assistants.
  • Administrative and fundraising costs for Routt County United Way are 14%.
  • Routt County United Way provides the administrative support for the Human Resource Coalition, a network of health and human service professionals that work collectively to address community problems.
  • Routt County United Way supports over 40 agencies and human service programs throughout Routt County. These agencies and programs help infants, the elderly, families, youth and those with special needs.
  • In 2008, Routt County United Way allocated over $500,000 to health and human service programs benefiting Routt County residents.

As the county grows, so does the need for affordable health & human services. Funding cuts at the Local, State and Federal level have left it up to us to sustain the health services needed by our families, friends and neighbors.
