The Steamboat Springs Optimist Club is seeking new members to serve the youth of Routt County. The club has been active in Steamboat since 1981 hosting annual events including the Optimist/Rotary Fishing Derby and pancake breakfast, the Wiley Coyote Ski Chase, the Bike Safety Rodeo and Bike Swap, Santa Calls and the Pumpkin Festival and Teen-of-the-Month program mentioned below.
