To facilitate the growth, diversification and stability of Routt County's economy through the practice of "Economic Gardening" as an economic development strategy that supports and fosters a culture of entrepreneurship.

The SBRC provides, at no cost, one-to-one confidential consulting for business owners and entrepreneurs. Counseling services are provided through Yampa Valley SCORE. Help available includes: advice on operating challenges in existing businesses, review of business plans and strategies, guidance in starting new businesses, financial analysis and budget development.

If you have an idea for a new business please try and attend one of the regularly scheduled First Steps seminars before scheduling an appointment. If this is not possible you can make the most of your meeting by first reviewing the Tools for Entrepreneurs. The tools helps entrepreneurs at all levels of experience evaluate the feasibility of a business idea and identify their next steps.

It is a great place to start!

Appointments are required to meet with a consultant and are scheduled on a "first-come, first-serve" basis. Call (970) 870-4491 or email Randy Rudasics at: rudasics_1@msn.com to schedule an appointment.
