SCORE is the premiere small business counseling and advice organization in the United States. SCORE is a nonprofit, charitable organization composed of 11,500 volunteer business mentors, both working and retired, who counsel businesses from nearly 400 counseling offices througout the country. As a resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), SCORE operates in cooperation with the agency to provide business owners with information, resources and tools vital to their success. This includes counseling on financing options, business strategy, marketing tactics, product development, cash flow, management and much more.

THE SCORE OFFICE IN STEAMBOAT SPRINGS IS LOCATED AT THE COLORADO MOUNTAIN COLLEGE CAMPUS ON THE Third FLOOR OF THE BOGUE HALL BUSINESS ENTERPRISE CENTER ROOM#310.

Steamboat Springs SCORE counselors work closely with the Steamboat Springs Economic Development Council and the Small Business Resource Center (SBRC) to assist entrepreneurs and existing business owners.

SCORE counseling and business mentoring is FREE AND CONFIDENTIAL. SCORE and the SBRC with the assistance of Colorado Mountain College also offers workshops and seminars at a nominal fee.
