Yampa Valley Beef is a value added business developed to expand the market for locally produces brand name beef while also giving back to the Yampa Valley's ranching heritage and supporting the preservation of agricultural lands. Yampa Beef was implemented in 1998 with their direct mission as "to develop an expanded market for locally produced brand name beef as a tool for improving the economic viability of ranching in the Yampa Valley while preserving agricultural lands and the natural communities they support".
