MISSION STATEMENT
"The yampavalley.info Community Information Center is dedicated to gathering and displaying valley-wide information, created for and by citizens, to promote the spirit, culture and heritage of our communities."
Yampavalley.info is a multimedia encyclopedia all about Routt County, dedicated to networking county-wide information promoting the spirit of our community and meeting the information needs of the Routt County Residents and others interested in our region. It includes text, graphics, possibly sound and video clips, appropriate web links as well as detailed interactive maps. Information about Routt County’s history, local governments, schools, community organizations, business, agriculture, parks, cultural features, and natural resources are featured.
In addition to displaying information of all types for local citizens, the project will hopefully demonstrate a new approach to improving and supporting communications between local units of government and citizens - with a special emphasis on land use planning and sustainable community development.
The Center is an expanding information resource available to everyone both in public locations and on the World Wide Web.
